For most physiotherapy treatments, you do not need a referral. However, in some situations, a referral from a general practitioner or medical specialist may be required.
For example:

after certain surgeries or hospital treatments; when a specialist wants to provide specific medical information; for certain insurance requirements or specialised care pathways.
If you are unsure whether you need a referral, feel free to contact IJFysio. We are happy to help clarify your situation.

At IJFysio, we believe in an active and evidence-based approach. We clearly explain your symptoms and help you build long-term independence and confidence in movement.
